“People will forget what you said. People will forget what you did. But people will never forget how you made them feel.” – Maya Angelou
This concept has really changed my life. When I started Lavigne House I knew I had to change the way publishing happens, at its core. And while at the end of the day most clients are focused on what I do, I know I need to stay focused on the bigger picture, how I can make people feel – and I don’t mean my authors, and stroking egos, and buying dinners, I mean the readers of their books.
I want the readers of Lavigne House books to have an experience, to enjoy our titles in the same way a child requests the same book every night before bed for an entire year. It’s about how you make people feel.
