They're DC-to-DC step-down converters, meaning they can take a higher input voltage (between 3.2V and 35V) and efficiently reduce it to a lower, adjustable output voltage (anywhere from 1.25V up to 30V). The maximum output current is 3A (with a continuous rated current of 2A – if you're pushing high power, adding a small heat sink is a good idea). They use a high-frequency switching design (400KHz) for good efficiency. The blue potentiometer lets you easily dial in your exact desired voltage – just turn it clockwise to increase voltage, counter-clockwise to decrease it. A multimeter to monitor the output is highly recommended. They're built on a thickened PCB with quality components like a solid-state capacitor for clean output. Perfect for DIY power supplies, charging projects, LED strips, motor controllers, or adapting car/motorcycle/battery pack voltages for lower-voltage devices like Arduinos or sensors.
